The Cycle of the Unfinished.
For years, I worked in the heart of the corporate world in L&D, and I saw a pattern that I never really understood and didn’t agree with.
I call it "The Cycle of the Unfinished."
It starts with an urgent request; a reactive project issued without a clear plan or measurable goals. As a designer, I would pour my skills and energy into building a solution as quick as possible, only for a different "urgent" priority to take its place.
Projects were forgotten before they were even released. If they were released, there was no way to track if they actually helped anyone.
I felt like I was spinning my wheels..
Possessing the skills to make a massive impact.
but..
Stuck in a system that didn't know how to use them.
I observed other teams and started noticing this everywhere. I realised that work feels meaningless when it isn't helpful, and I knew there had to be a better way.
The Leap
Taking a Chance & Following My Beliefs.
In 2025, I decided to stop being part of the cycle.
My wife and I moved to Japan to start our family, and I realised that with a "little one" on the way, my time was more precious than ever.
I didn't just want a cosy job; I wanted my work to have meaning.
I wanted to see companies empower their people, and actually drive change.
Moving to Japan gave me the clarity to build a business that focuses on doing things differently.
I don’t do reactive “firefighting” anymore. I partner with businesses to build the architecture that allows them to step back, set measurable goals, and provide their experts with the resources they need to lead their own change.
My Philosophy
You already have the experts. I provide the architecture.
I believe your company already has the answers, and they are most likely locked inside the heads of your best employees.
The problem isn't a lack of expertise; it's a lack of time and tools. Busy managers are often too overwhelmed to organise their team’s knowledge into something usable.
That is where I come in.
As a Learning Architect, I don’t come in to replace your team; I partner with you to build the systems and resources that let your people shine.
